Dragonflight is just around the corner and everyone wants to know when the next WoW expansion will be released.
This is the eighth expansion for the game since it was first released in 2004. The last expansion, Shadowlands, was dropped in 2020, leaving people hungry for more WoW goodness.

WoW Dragonflight release time and date
If you’re wondering when Dragonflight’s release time is, then you’re in luck. We have the information you need right here. standing now The expansion will be playable at 3pm PT.6 p.m. ET/11pm GMT on November 28, 2022.
There’s a small chance that Blizzard could push the release date or time forward a bit, but so close to release day it’s unlikely.

Unfortunately, since the game releases on a Monday, you’ll have to wait until you’ve finished working before you have a chance to play it. That is, unless you’re already planning to take some time off for release day.
It’ll be almost the 29th in the UK before players get access to the latest expansion, but it’s even worse in Europe where it’s midnight before the game actually becomes playable.

WoW Dragonflight Pre-Patch
If you’re really itching to start playing, consider pre-patching the game so it’s ready to go when the new content goes live.
You can get your hands on the pre-patch now if you haven’t already. To get the patch, fire up your Battle.net launcher and check the World of Warcraft section.

If you haven’t pre-patched, you should get an update/install button on the bottom left. Click on that and the game should update to include all of the content you actually need to play the game when the expansion drops.
If you’ve already purchased the expansion, you can also redeem your code through Battle.net’s Redeem Code feature, which should also result in the update.
