For outstanding performance with a robust design, the TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4090 is what you need. This 3.65 slot card is 348mm long for wide case compatibility, with excellent performance, cooling and power management.
The TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4090 uses a die-cast unibody cover bonded directly to an aluminum backplate to strengthen the overall structure and protect the circuit board from sagging while still providing plenty of airflow. An updated 3D acrylic TUF logo along the shroud features ARGB lighting compatible with Aura Sync, while a detachable Velcro loop provides additional cable management options. A massive vent at the edge of the backplate allows even more air to flow through the fins from the larger Axial-Tech fans, providing 20% ​​more airflow than the last-gen TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3090 Ti.
We’ve also redesigned the TUF gaming card’s cooling with a new vapor chamber for vastly improved heat transfer. Its six heatpipes – five 8mm and three 6mm heatpipes – offer enormous cooling potential with 35% more contact area compared to the TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3090. With the onboard dual BIOS switch, you can choose between performance and quiet mode, or customize the performance of the card yourself through our new GPU Tweak III software.
To provide the necessary performance, the TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4090 uses the new 16-pin power connector of the PCIe 5.0 standard, which delivers a robust power supply system with capacitors rated at 20K and a distribution of high-current power stages that is in a 10 -Arrangement are arranged +4 configuration. Built with high performance and long durability at its core, the TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4080 16GB delivers next-gen performance in a rugged design. Compared to the TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3080, this new card features a die-cast unibody cover and aluminum backplate to protect the underlying circuit board, as well as a 3.65-slot-thick heatsink for top-level cooling. That’s slightly thicker than the Strix variants of this card, but also over 9mm shorter for wider case compatibility.
A trio of our Axial-Tech fans create ample airflow for this powerhouse, with the right-most fan blowing air through a new opening at the edge of the backplate. This vent is significantly larger than the previous generation and allows for cool operation while featuring a TUF logo spanning both the backplate and vent frame for a unique look. Below that, an updated 3D acrylic TUF logo glows on the shroud’s edge with ARGB lighting that can be coordinated with the rest of your PC using Aura Sync. A dual BIOS switch lets you choose between performance and sleep modes, or apply manual tweaks with our GPU Tweak III software. The unibody die-cast cover has the same structural rigidity as its larger brethren, while a wide vent on the back panel improves airflow compared to previous generation models. The 12GB TUF card also features the same dual BIOS switch and redesigned ARGB TUF logo along the cover for a touch of flair, alongside military-grade capacitors and Auto-Extreme build quality, for the all TUF maps are known.
