When is Black Friday 2022?
Black Friday takes place every year on the day after Thanksgiving. This year, the shopping holiday stands out Friday, 11/25. Most retailers run Black Friday sales in the days before and before Black Friday proper. Additional offers will be available on Cyber Monday which falls on Monday, 11/28.
What stores are open on Black Friday in Detroit?
Almost every major mall in Detroit, from big players like Target and Walmart to consumer-favorite retailers like lululemon and Nike, will open their doors on Black Friday. For the best in-store doorbuster deals, head to Woodward Avenue, Somerset Collection Mall or Twelve Oaks Mall for the best Christmas discounts. In the meantime, if you don’t want to leave home, there are tons of online deals to buy right now.
When does Walmart open on Black Friday in Detroit?
Walmart is supposed to open at 5:00 p.m. EST on Black Friday. It should be noted that all Walmart locations across the country are closed on Thanksgiving Day. Remember that most of Walmart’s Black Friday deals are always available online.
Are Detroit Banks Open on Black Friday 2022?
Thanksgiving and Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, are public holidays in Michigan, so many Detroit banks are closed Friday, 11/25. However, Black Friday is not recognized as a public holiday, so some branches may remain open. Thanksgiving being celebrated Thursday, November 24th This year is a national holiday, so all banks will be closed. If you expect to do any banking on Black Friday, be sure to check the holiday times at your local branch.
