Black Friday is over, but most of the gaming PC deals are still available. We’ve sorted out the best gaming PC deals from Walmart, HP, Dell (Alienware), Best Buy, and Amazon. Black Friday deals on gaming PCs were a lot stronger this year than last year. That’s because this was the first Black Friday where RTX 30-series graphics cards aren’t priced above MSRP. Since graphics cards are cheaper, pre-built gaming PCs equipped with these GPUs are also cheaper. Another benefit of getting a gaming PC this year is that you can order a PC and expect to receive it in a very reasonable timeframe as supplying graphics cards is no longer an issue.
Walmart Black Friday Gaming PC Deals
Walmart doesn’t have too many Black Friday gaming PC deals, but the ones they have are pretty good. You will find some fantastic deals on prebuilt gaming pc from IBUYPOWER.
HP Gaming PC Deals
These are the redesigned HP ENVY and OMEN models for 2022. With the exception of the very affordable sub-$1,000 HP Pavilion RTX 3060 gaming PC, the rest of the configurations are again equipped with best-in-class 12th Gen Intel Alder Lake processors. Some of these configurations are customizable; The upgrades we’ve picked emphasize harder-to-DIY components like the CPU and GPU, while keeping the RAM and storage options fully stock. That’s because it’s often a much cheaper way to find the best deal on your own RAM and SSD, and then install them yourself.

The 2022 OMEN 45L is HP’s flagship gaming PC. We’ve yet to see a mainstream vendor sporting a more robust cooling system than what we’re seeing here. The 45L is a bulky chassis with three intake fans for excellent airflow. Even more impressive is the hefty 240mm liquid cooling system (upgradable to 360mm for $80) mounted in its own compartment at the top of the case, dubbed the “cryochamber”. This allows for cooling that rivals enthusiast DIY systems.
New Release Alienware Aurora R15 Intel Core i9 Raptor Lake GeForce RTX 4090 Gaming PC
with Cryo-Tech water cooling and 1350W power supply

New version
Alienware Aurora R15 13th Gen Intel Core i7-13900KF RTX 4090 Gaming PC with Cryo-Tech Liquid Cooling and 1350W of Power Deliver
New for the 2022-2023 season, the Alienware Aurora R15 is the first Dell PC to feature both the 13th Gen Intel Raptor Lake processor and RTX 40 Series GPU. The Intel Core i9-13900KF has a Turbo Boost clock frequency of 5.8 GHz and a whopping 24 cores and 32 threads. It’s definitely more powerful than the i9 Alder Lake and rivals AMD’s flagship AMD Ryzen 9 7950X for its money.
The RTX 4090 is by far the most powerful graphics card you can get right now. No other GPU, either from NVIDIA or AMD, comes close. For reference, the RTX 4090 is about 110% faster in 4K gaming than the already impressive RTX 3080. It’s about 60% faster than the previous king, the RTX 3090 Ti. That could very well be the biggest performance upgrade within a single generation gap for the GeForce line of cards.
Should You Upgrade Your Gaming PC?
Of course, the answer depends entirely on your situation. However, in terms of technological advancements, both the newer CPUs and the newer GPUs are notable improvements over their predecessors this time around.
Gaming CPUs to consider
The Intel Core i7 Alder Lake CPU is Intel’s 12th generation processor and is quite a leap in performance compared to all previous Intel chips. It’s definitely one of the best upgrades you can make on the Intel platform, especially considering most of the previous Core i7 revisions were incremental. There’s an even newer processor now, the 13th Gen Raptor Lake, but it’s too new to see good deals on this CPU, and the improvement over Alder Lake isn’t worth the price premium.
On the AMD side, the Ryzen 7000 series processors are also a noticeable step forward. However, these are latest generation processors and will not be available for sale as quickly as the AMD 6000 and 5000 series CPUs. In that sense, the AMD 6000 is only an incremental upgrade over the 5000 series, and you should consider getting one or the other depending on what’s available.
Gaming GPUs to consider
The RTX 30 series graphics cards are a huge improvement over the RTX 20 series graphics cards. For example, the RTX 3060 Ti, a “mid-range” card, performs just as well as the RTX 2080 SUPER, the “high-end” card of previous generations. If you have a graphics card prior to this generation, this is probably the best upgrade you can make. Of course, the RTX 40 series cards that just came out are even better, but with the cheapest RTX 40 series card starting at over $1000, the value proposition just isn’t there.
AMD has decent graphics cards. The AMD Radeon RX 6850 XT is a bit slower than the RTX 3080 and the RX 6700 XT is a bit slower than the RTX 3070, but these cards lack DLSS and ray tracing performance is below average. However, gaming PCs equipped with these AMD cards could potentially be several hundred dollars cheaper than their NVIDIA equivalents. Don’t count them out when trying to get the most bang for your buck.
