Samsung, Apple on tiptoe after outrageous leak! The new Pixel 7a could be the phone of the year 2023

Samsung’s Galaxy A series and Apple’s iPhone SE could be some of them Most sold mid-range phones in the world, but that doesn’t mean they bring it bestvalue! That could prove particularly true in 2023, when Google is expected to launch the new Pixel 7a.

What makes Google’s 2023 mid-range phone particularly intriguing is that it’s loud According to leaks and rumours, this one is now set to be released much earlier in the year compared to its predecessors, which would already be a big win…

As a matter of fact, Amazon is now letting users subscribe to the upcoming “Google Pixel 7a Family Launch Announcement,” which hints that the launch of the Pixel 7a could be far ahead of schedule. Amazon’s “Pixel 7a family” reference might even mean there’s more than one Pixel 7a model that might be a larger Pixel 7a XL, but that’s neither here nor there (for now).

But the leaks and rumors don’t end there, because developer Kuba Wojciechowski dug deep into Google’s code to find out virtually all about the new Pixel 7a, and the news is amazing! After this leak I’m actually wondering… Why would anyone buy the vanilla Pixel 7 or… any other Android phone instead of the Pixel 7a?

So let’s take a first look at the Pixel 7a’s specs! Spoilers: This device is a serious contender for the phone of 2023 before the year has even started!

Incredible camera upgrades and a flagship 90Hz display mean the Pixel 7a could be the best Android phone deal… ever

Corresponding Kuba Wojciechowski, the display of the Pixel 7a should now correspond to this Pixel 7 when it comes to refresh rate (90Hz) and addresses my biggest complaint about the Pixel 6a and its 60Hz panel. It was about time Google caught up with the Android competition as all phones in this price range now come with 90-120Hz displays.

It’s important to note that the Pixel 7a should have a smaller 6-inch screen, which would make it the perfect choice over the Pixel 7 or Pixel 7 Pro for many people. A compact phone is a valid selling point for users who don’t want to carry a brick in their pocket (my main phone is an iPhone 13 mini).

Big camera upgrades for the budget Pixel 7a

Equally exciting, the Pixel 7a is rumored to launch with the Sony IMX787 primary camera sensor, which debuted in early 2022, as well as two Sony IMX712 sensors – one for the ultra-wide camera and one for the selfie shooter (again, all according to Cuba’s code leaks ). While the (allegedly) 13MP IMX712 has yet to be announced, we already know that the Sony IMX787 is a 1/1.3-inch 64MP sensor to match Pixel 7 Pro and Galaxy S22 Ultra for size (not megapixels)! This would be an absolutely huge improvement over the Sony IMX363 that Google used in this year’s Pixel 6a and 2017’s Pixel 2 Challenge the big flagships big!

Google’s plan to compete with Apple and Samsung starts with the Pixel 7a, not the Pixel 7 or Pixel 7 Pro?

Competition with Apple and Samsung for sales and market share is fierce. Few phone makers (Huawei, Xiaomi) have managed to compete with the US and South Korean giants over the last decade, meaning that no matter how hard it tries, Google will take ages to catch up.

However, if there is one way to make an impression, generate interest, and sell phones, it is by making and offering affordable devices that offer incredible value. Huawei and Xiaomi followed the same path to the top a few years ago by penetrating the global market with mid-range phones, and now Google may be trying to pull off the same feat!

Pixel 7a Massive Upgrades Are Leaking, Android Users Are Incredibly Excited And Pledge To Buy It

Attention Apple and Samsung! Pixel 7a could be the best phone deal we’ve seen. even Pixel 7 doesn’t stand a chance (which makes no sense Google)

Honestly, it’s pretty hard to believe what Google is supposed to be doing with the Pixel 7a. I mean, the leaks we have are from trusted sources with good track records of providing reliable information, but it all seems that way to be too good to be true…The Pixel 7a is more or less expected to be on par with the Pixel 7 in terms of specs, save for a smaller display (which many will prefer) and a slightly different camera arrangement that’s proving to be just as good, if not better of vanilla pixel 7! Of course, the 7a also includes three years of timely software updates and four years of extended security support, making it all the more attractive.

The main question is, with all the big upgrades on the horizon, can the Pixel 7a hold the same $449 price tag as the Pixel 6a? If that’s the case, the 7a might not only be the best mid-range phone out there, but also one of the best Android deals we’ve seen. As always!

Speaking of competition, the main challenges for the Pixel 7a are ahead Galaxy A54 (we already know what this one will look like), Nothing Phone 2 (we haven’t heard of this one yet) and the iPhone SE 4. Apple’s mid-ranger is a bit of a joker, as it’s not 100% sure it will debut next year. Regardless, none of these phones will match the Pixel 7a in terms of overall value, at least on paper and if the rumors about them all come true.

Of course, it’s also worth reminding you that the Pixel 7a won’t be available in as many countries as the Galaxy A54 and iPhone SE. Still, major markets like the US, Europe, UK and India should be celebrating!
