Canadian psychologist, author, and famous anti-wake thinker Jordan Peterson warned western countries that a totalitarian social credit system was “very likely” to enter their societies.
In a recent interview with Australia’s Sky News, Peterson claimed that the policies and restrictions introduced by western nations during the COVID-19 pandemic could pave the way for an automated social credit and “digital passport” system that would jeopardize citizens’ rights .
He also said most of the public have no idea it could happen.
Sky News’ Rita Panahi introduced the topic, asking: “Do you think what we’ve been doing during COVID could usher in our version of a social credit system?”

Without hesitation, Peterson responded by saying, “Oh yeah, definitely. Yes, that is very likely.”
Panahi added, “And that it will be accepted by many people?”
“You won’t even notice,” her guest interjected, adding, “You can’t believe how many people don’t know these things.”
Then he gave an example that shows how many Western leaders have yet to learn about awakening and “breakdown culture” and the threat they could pose.
Peterson said: “When I went to the UK I spoke to some people in the House of Lords… The smartest people sitting in the House of Lords had only become aware of the Woke movement in the last 18 months.”

Peterson illustrated how societies could get to such a place: “People have no idea, it’s like, ‘Well, why not have a digital passport? I mean, you know how handy!’”
He continued: “And it’s fair enough that you can understand that. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could pay for everything with our phones? It’s like, wouldn’t it be nice if the central government – which has woken up – is oriented and making carbon clean-up a priority – knows exactly what you’re spending on everything so they can target you accurately on taxes?
Peterson also said it would be a “miracle” if the West avoided such a seemingly “convenient” system.
He added: “You can see the signs of this everywhere, now when you walk through airports there are a lot of automatic barriers – you show your passports. Well these are automatic barriers, what if you can’t get through them? Well, that’s the situation for many people in China. What will you do? You’re going to argue with the machine?”

Expressing the horror of the possible situation, Peterson said: “Imagine how fucked up you are! It’s far worse than anything Kafka ever imagined. Because at least with Kafka there were bureaucrats. Faceless as they may have been, there were still people. Once the machines can lock you out, you’re in such trouble.”
He concluded by declaring, “We are rushing toward it with an immense lack of care.”
