Is the 3080 Ti good for 1440p? A good question. The 3080Ti is one of the most powerful creations of the last generation, but does that alone mean it’s the best choice for your gaming escapades? let’s find out
Although the RTX 3090 is the most expensive graphics card in the latest Ampere range, most high-end PC gamers can’t afford it. The RTX 3080 Ti, on the other hand, has an MSRP of $799, which is more of a reasonable price.
Priced at $799, the RTX 3080 Ti is significantly cheaper than the RTX 2080 Ti. Compare this to the RTX 2080 Ti, which costs $1199 at launch. While the most similar AMD card is the RX 6900 XT, which costs $999.
Gaming performance wasn’t quite as amazing, however. In contrast to the RTX 2080 Ti’s 11 GB of video memory, the RTX 3080 Ti has 12 GB of RAM. While the RTX 3080 Ti consistently outperforms the RTX 2080 Ti in terms of framerate, the lead isn’t enough to justify an upgrade.
It’s important to remember that the RTX 3080 Ti consumes a lot of power and needs a reliable power supply. The RTX 3080 Ti’s 12288 MB RAM is more than enough memory for current games and should not be a bottleneck.

You have to consider spending that much money on a high-end GPU like the RTX 3080 Ti. With a little tweaking to your AA settings, it would be hard to think of a game that couldn’t average 60 fps. 4K gaming is glorious on this RTX 3080 Ti.
