During her absence, she said you should rent a car rather than use public transport.

“I hired a car from Thrifty while I was in Melbourne and I was able to see the Great Ocean Road for a lot cheaper than taking a tour or hiring rides,” Queenie said.

“Plus, you’ll be able to see a lot more because you can go anywhere you want.”

Earlier this year, Queenie and her fiancé Pablo took a trip around the world, visiting Singapore, London, Paris, New York, Vancouver and Las Vegas.

It only cost the couple $1,000 each for all flights, as they could use Qantas points they earned by using a credit card for everyday purchases.

If they had paid for the flights, Queenie said it would have cost more than $10,000.

In another video, Queenie said she always uses the Klook shopping app when she travels because it’s completely free.

In the video, she said, “I’m on a world trip so I’m saving money for activities.”

“I use an app called Klook – you can use this app to buy cheaper tours, tickets and sim cards!”

Queenie also mentioned that you can have the option to get cashback on certain offers just by using the app.

It makes it easier to browse, plan and book a range of activities when traveling in Australia or abroad, and users can save money on tourist attractions, events, hotels and transport.

Last year, another savvy traveler showed how to hide extra luggage on a plane with an ingenious “pillow” trick.

Marie Fe shared a video on Instagram of herself stuffing a pillowcase with excess clothing that didn’t fit in her suitcase.

Marie and her Aussie boyfriend Jake Snow are known for sharing pictures of their travel adventures online and have a strong Instagram following of more than 1.1 million people.

The “Game Changer” hack was dubbed the “best trick ever” by other social media users online.

In the short clip, Marie can be seen filling the empty pillowcase with clothes, then walking through the airport and onto the plane.

Although the pillowcase was stuffed with clothing, it looked comfortable enough for Marie to rest her head on during the flight.

The clever hack can be used to save luggage space and would help avoid filling your suitcase over the maximum carrying capacity.
