Hilton recently extended the not-very-well-received F&B coupon for Gold and Diamond members staying at themed hotels worldwide (read more here), where it was previously only available at hotels in the United States.
The F&B credit was introduced in 2021 as a temporary measure related to Covid-19 but now appears to be in effect indefinitely.

Hilton Terms and Conditions Update:
Removed December 8, 2022
Qualification for all Hilton Honors benefits at the hotel, including free internet and MyWay benefits such as free snacks and drinks, Complimentary continental breakfast (all-inclusive hotels, hotels with executive lounges and outside the US only), daily food and beverage credit (US only if guests do not have Executive Lounge access)
Replaced by December 8, 2022
Qualification for all Hilton Honors benefits at the hotel, including free internet and MyWay benefits such as free snacks and drinks, Complimentary continental breakfast OR daily food and beverage credit (varies by brand and region)
I missed this change when it was introduced in the Program T&Cs on December 8, 2022 as it was buried with other non-relevant changes.
Complimentary continental breakfast OR daily food and beverage credit (varies by brand and region)
The daily food and beverage credit is no longer limited to hotels in the United States, per the program terms and conditions, but is “varies by brand and region.”
Hilton Food & Beverage Coverage:
Hilton extends Gold & Diamond F&B credits in lieu of breakfast worldwide for the Motto brand
Hilton is extending Gold & Diamond F&B credits in the US through the end of 2022

Hilton Daily Food & Beverage Credit: When does it start and end?
It’s unclear if and when and to which brands Hilton plans to expand this globally beyond Motto, but it’s becoming clearer with these T&C changes of January 1, 2021, even after this change on December 8, 2022, that something will happen .
We have attempted to clarify with Hilton the status of these “temporary” credits for F&B in lieu of continental breakfast for two, but have been unsuccessful.
Let’s hope there isn’t a surprise 2023 announcement announced late on Friday (always the best time for negative news!).
