by If you’re hoping to purchase a PS5 or PS5 bundle, your first announced opportunity is Monday, November 21 at 12:00pm ET / 9:00am PT at Walmart. There’s a catch, though: This first round of Black Friday PS5s will only be available to Walmart+ members. That’s not to say it’s the only way to get your hands on a shiny new PlayStation 5 before the holiday season, but it’s the only way that’s been officially announced (so far).
How to get a PS5 on Black Friday
The TL; DR is if you want to crack a PS5 from Walmart first, you better sign up for Walmart+.
Walmart is offering the PlayStation 5 God of War: Ragnarok bundles on three separate days, as well as several other PS5 releases and bundles.
Walmart+ costs $12.98 for a single month or $98 annually. There’s a 30-day free trial, but unfortunately the free trial doesn’t entitle you to early access to Black Friday PS5 drops. You have to pay to get access.
If you’d rather not spend the money on a month of Walmart+ to get access to the PlayStation 5 consoles on Monday November 21st, you still have two more chances at Walmart, chances that do NOT require a membership .
Does Amazon have PS5 in stock?
This is an interesting question. For Black Friday, Amazon doesn’t have anything up its sleeve when it comes to the PS5 (at least not that we know of). However, you can sign up for a PS5 invite on several different PlayStation 5 SKUs listed below. From what we’ve seen through IGNDeals on Twitter and our own coverage, those invites went out pretty quickly.

Which versions of the PlayStation 5 will be available on Black Friday?
According to Walmart, the following PlayStation 5 consoles and console bundles will be available online and in stores. Of course, in-store availability is subject to change, and if you’re trying to buy a PS5 from Walmart on Black Friday, you’re being stricter than me.
As mentioned above, Amazon has the same selection available by invite, but also offers invites for the disc and digital versions of the Horizon Forbidden West PlayStation 5 bundles.
PlayStation 5 console availability is one of the many PS5 Black Friday deals, although at full price it’s not really a deal. But it beats scalper prices!
