If you’ve always been tempted to plan a trip to Asia for 2023, you’re in luck. Cathay Pacific has significantly reduced flights from Los Angeles to Taipei, Taiwan and Bangkok.
You can fully immerse yourself in the rich cultures and stories that Taipei and Bangkok have to offer – from night markets to some of the world’s tallest skyscrapers and gilded temples.
Fares to Taipei start from $680 and fares to Bangkok start from $686. These fares are part of Cathay Pacific’s larger Black Friday offer, which offers discounts for many cities in East and Southeast Asia. However, we found that the fares from Los Angeles to Taipei and Bangkok were among the cheapest in this flight bundle.
The Cathay Pacific Black Friday Sale lasts until November 28th at 9:59pm PST, so you also have some time to plan your trip.

For flights to Taipei and Bangkok, we found that the weeks from January 29th to February 5th have the lowest fares.
These cheap Cathay Pacific fares are for Economy Class.
For example, the Cathay Pacific Light option offers the cheapest fare for a trip to Taipei on January 31st. The Light fare does not include seat selection and additional fees if you wish to make changes to your ticket. In addition, you can take one carry-on bag and one checked bag with you in the fare.
When it comes to seat selection, a standard seat can range from $12 to $45. Standard seats are more expensive on Los Angeles to Hong Kong flights and cheaper on Hong Kong to Taipei flights.
You can also opt for an extra legroom seat, which can range from $45 to $195. The more expensive seats are also reserved for flights between Los Angeles and Hong Kong.
